Carrie niederer
Career Transition Consultant
After almost 40 years in the Executive Search industry including as Partner in the Consumer Practice of
Heidrick & Struggles and Owner/Director of entrepreneurial search businesses, Carrie changed her career and became a Transition Coach. Even as an Executive Recruiter, her interest was always most
ignited around the journey of the candidate; where they had been, where they wanted to go and why.
Now, her coaching practice is exclusively focused on supporting her client’s journey to discover their
true passion or purpose with their next career choice as the driver of the change.
As a Transition Coach, Carrie partners with her clients who are seeking changes in their work life – that
may include a change of career, internal or transitional move, returning to work after an absence or looking towards retirement and what’s next.
Carrie received her Coaching Certification from the esteemed Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa
Barbara, CA. Her educational background includes a BA from UC Berkeley and a JD from UC, Hastings
College of the Law.
Clients can be located anywhere in the world. When possible, it is always helpful to meet in person, at
least once. However, it can be just as effective to manage the entire coaching relationship by phone,
Zoom or Skype. A coaching engagement will typically last no less than three months.
